Two days event that gathered many of former students and post-docs of my deceased mentor, Istvan E Marko, was very emotional but simply great. I beleive that he would enjoy the meeting where so much chemistry and fun was brought together...

Daniela has defended her PhD Thesis and become the first PhD of the group in the domain of Experimental Biolgy! Well done!

We are happy to see that our synthetic abilities could be used in context of the plant research! The last example is demonstrated by the beautiful work of Benkova's group (IST, Austria) that was accepted in Development! Congratualtions to all who participated in this beautiful peace of research!

Our recent paper covering organocatalyzed benzofurane synthesis was highlighted in SYNFATCS! Since it is already for the second time in last 6 months it seems that our chemistry gets attention of the scientific community.
